Flue Kits – a new service for home builders
Turner Baker launched an exciting new service that we are calling Flue Kits, at the recent National Homebuilding and Renovation Show at the NEC.
Flue Kits offers flue, fireplace and stove kits designed by experts ready for you to install yourself. This new service is offered to anyone building a new property or renovating an old one; from self-builders to building companies alike.
Flue Kits can take your plan or drawing and turn it into a bespoke ready to install solution with full instructions. Kits are available for use with open fires, wood burning stoves, boilers and gas fires.
The Kits are available in different formats too. If you want to install a wood burning stove in an existing property, then you will probably want a stainless steel flue liner. If it’s an open fire that you are building from scratch, then an Isokern kit is the answer.
Turner Baker recognise that many plans and drawings for new properties or renovations don’t specify the requirements for the chimney or flue. A flue that has been designed incorrectly can end up with the fire or appliance being inefficient or even dangerous. The expertise provided by Flue Kits takes the guesswork out of getting your flue right.
